There’s a lot of talk going ’round these days about actor Michael B. Jordan, a Black actor, being cast as The Human Torch in the Fantastic Four reboot. The defenders usually jump right to racism as the only reason anyone could have an issue with this. But I think that’s just an easy way for these guys to avoid the real issue.

The thing about THE THING

I don’t know if you guys remember an awesome move that came out way back in 1982 called The Thing, but it has a prequel coming out in theaters in the U.S. today (also called “The Thing”).

This post isn’t about the current movie, this one is about the 1982 movie starring Kurt Russell, Keith David and directed by John Carpenter.
