Just finished up a round of horror movies recently. Honestly these movies end up being comedies for me, since I usually don’t feel much sympathy for the protagonists. Oh well, at least they weren’t “found footage” movies.
So I decided to watch the movie “Her” this weekend. It affected me, but probably in ways the director didn’t mean for it to affect people. Some spoilers follow.
On a dried-out, dying world called Skyland, a young man attempts to break free from the grip of extremism. Unfortunately, escaping from the planet doesn’t help him escape from the burden of who he is.
I recently had the pleasure of reading Marvel Comics: The Untold Story, and just to clarify the title, the review isn’t sad because the book was poorly written, it’s sad because it reveals the inner workings of a company known for making “funnybooks”, and it ain’t too funny at all.

There’s a lot more exciting comics out there than Daredevil these days, and I only write this because after I read the latest issue I realized that I’m about to drop this one.
